nicah la Cortes

It started as a 'tell all' about the way I write. I saw it as a 'Blogging for Idiots' kind of thing with me as the idiot and hopefully it may generate some interest to my books. It's really a work in progress, I was writing my notes when it occurred to me that it was a blog not a book. Duh! - A blonde moment, I know! And I'm not a natural blonde.

I'm rewriting two books and editing the other two. I have a home to care for, a partner, a daughter living at home, and it's school holidays so I get to care for my grandchildren everyday. I guess what I'm trying to say, I'm busy. So busy I don't have time for anything else in my life. My family come first, then the books and blogging is an also-ran. I need to get serious and find some time.

I've themed my blog around the 'Family Secrets' series with 'labels' for:

• 'Secret Family', the serialized version of the book.

• Marte's secrets. Recipes from Marte's kitchen and Rose's Bakery. They are not secret rather they are delicious traditional recipes that have been updated to make them quick and easy to prepare.

• Kellie's secrets. Hacks I learnt from nic, now I'm showing you some of the secrets I learnt (but not the illegal ones).

• Anja's secrets. 'How to' hacks from cc and others that save you time and money by organizing your life and business.

• nicah's secrets. Stuff about me and my writing, and answers to questions readers have asked.

During that process I noticed many Pinterest Pins appeared similar, what I discovered transformed my writing. You'll need to read my blogs to discover it for yourself at www.nicah.nicahlacortes.com.
